About the Firm
Our Founder
Lawrence E. KrautKraut
With over 40 years of experience in injury law, I have dedicated my career to advocating for plaintiffs in personal injury cases. From the initial consultation to litigation, I have successfully handled a wide range of injury matters, including auto accidents, slip and fall cases, dog bites, and premises liability claims. My extensive experience allows me to navigate complex legal challenges while ensuring my clients receive the justice and compensation they deserve.
I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology, with a minor in biology, from the University of Chicago, followed by a Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School at the University of Illinois. I have also pursued postgraduate studies in psychology, further deepening my understanding of human behavior—an invaluable asset in my legal practice. Additionally, I proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserve for six years, receiving an honorable discharge.
What matters most to me is treating my clients with care and understanding. I believe in providing compassionate, client-focused representation, ensuring that each person I work with feels heard, valued, and supported throughout the legal process.
Outside of my legal practice, I have a passion for cooking and enjoy preparing meals for family and friends. As a proud father of three daughters and grandfather to six, family is central to my life. Music is another great love of mine, spanning genres from pop to classical—an appreciation I share with two of my daughters, who are professional musicians.
If you are seeking an experienced, compassionate attorney to handle your personal injury case, I am here to help.
